Hondru Ford & Manheim Central Food Pantry July Food Drive
Drivers searching for a dedicated team that supports the local neighborhood will find a welcoming home at our upcoming summer community event. We understand that managing your auto budget or finding the right trade value can feel stressful, which is why our team focuses on simple, helpful service. This summer, our crew is teaming up with neighbors to help local families get the nutritious meals they need. Throughout July 2026, our dealership is partnering with the Manheim Central Food Pantry and Ford Motor Company to host a massive donation drive. Our goal is to collect 2,500 pounds of nonperishable food items by July 31, 2026. Every contribution helps provide vital supplemental food assistance to individuals experiencing food insecurity throughout the region.

How to Donate and Drop Off Items
Dropping off your donations is incredibly easy, and you can stop by during our regular business hours all month long. Our showroom is a convenient stop for folks driving in from Lancaster or nearby Lititz. You can bring your unopened, unexpired food items directly to our facility located at 350 South Main Street in Manheim. We accept donations Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Weekend hours are also available, with our doors opening Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While you are here dropping off canned goods, feel free to browse our new inventory to see the latest arrivals. Our staff is always happy to chat about community goals or show you around the lot.
Special Summer Community Events and High Demand Items
Celebrating our community together makes these efforts even more meaningful, so we are hosting two special events at the dealership. These family friendly gatherings take place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, featuring great food, prizes, and fun giveaways. Food insecurity continuously affects many households across Lancaster County, which makes these drives critical. Visitors interested in pre-owned options can also explore our used inventory during the festivities. Local organizers have shared a breakdown of high demand items needed at the pantry.
- Beef stew and pancake mix
- Canned peaches and applesauce
- Rice sides and peanut butter
- Soup and pasta sauce
- Cereal and baked beans
- Reusable grocery bags
If you happen to be visiting us from Elizabethtown or Mount Joy, dropping off these items is a quick way to help.

Supporting Our Neighbors Together

The pantry works tirelessly to reduce food insecurity through the incredible generosity of local volunteers and community partners. By joining this July effort, you are helping to guarantee that our neighbors have reliable access to nutritious food. Beyond hosting community events, our dealership offers financing for all customers to help everyone get behind the wheel of a safe vehicle. You can easily access our online finance center to learn more about our general purchasing options. Stop by our showroom this month with your food donation to help us reach our neighborhood goal whenever you are in the area.
