The Ford Maverick vs. the Ford F-150
Because the Ford F-150 has been around for decades, it’s going to offer things that the new Ford Maverick can’t. For starters, the F-150 has six trims compared to the Maverick’s three, and it has six powertrains where the Maverick has two.
But where the Maverik outshines the F-150 is in its size and its price tag. Since the F-150 is a full-size truck, it will cost more for those in Lancaster, and because of its size, it’s best used for hauling and towing. But if you’re a truck fan and want something more compact, the Maverick is ideal as it is much less expansive, is more maneuverable, and as a bonus, it’s exclusively offered as a hybrid.
The Ford Maverick vs. the Ford Ranger
The Ford Ranger is a midsize pickup and, like the F-150, has been around for a while. When we compare the Ranger to the Maverick, Elizabethtown, and Mount Joy drivers, we will find some similarities but some differences. The most obvious difference is in their powertrains. Since the Maverick is a hybrid, it utilizes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor, where the Ranger uses a gas-powered 2.3-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine.
Where these two trucks are similar is in their trims. Each truck has the same trims the XL, XLT, and Lariat. Because these two vehicles used the same trims, they also have similar features. While most of the features are the same, they’ll differ depending on the optional packages chosen.
